Lisbon Airport Guide, accessible at https://lisbon-lis-international-airport.com/, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

If you believe that material available on this website infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send us a takedown notice using the process below, and we will act on properly submitted notices.

How to file a copyright takedown notice?

Send a written notice to our designated agent (contact below). To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if a single notice covers multiple works).
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — including the exact URL(s) on this website.
  4. Your contact details: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.

Where to send your notice (designated agent)?

Send copyright notices and counter-notifications to the designated agent for this website by email:

This inbox is monitored specifically for copyright matters. Please put "DMCA notice" in the subject line so we can act on it quickly.

What happens after you send a notice?

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question within a reasonable time, and we may notify the person who provided the material that it has been removed or disabled. We may also make a good-faith effort to contact you if we need clarification.

How to file a counter-notification?

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the designated agent that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in line with the DMCA unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we will restrict or terminate access for users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
